Mantua Family Culture Night (Volunteers Needed!)
Wednesday, April 15
6 - 7:30 PM
Please join us for Family Culture Night on April 15th from 6 PM to 7:30 PM. Sign up to host a table, volunteer, or just come to take a walk around the world.
Family Culture night (Formerly “Heritage Night”) is a wonderful time to celebrate Mantua’s many cultures and their unique background.
It's not too late to participate! If you would like to share about your family’s culture by hosting a table, please fill out the Google form.
We still need volunteers to help with:
- Crafts stations
- Information about the event
- Monitoring the trash cans
- Cleanup after the event

2026 Talent Show
Registration Deadline Is Coming Up!
Do you play an instrument, sing, or dance? Do you like to perform magic? Do you want to demonstrate your martial arts prowess? We're looking for talented kids to enter the school talent show!

The talent show will be held on Saturday, May 9.

Yearbook Order Deadline Is This Week
Mantua yearbooks for the 25-26 school year are now available to order. All orders are done online and cost $20.

📣 Special Announcement: April 21 and 22 📣
A recently announced special election will impact all FCPS school calendars in April. Please be aware of the following changes:

Tuesday, April 21: Student Holiday (teacher workday, staff development day, and statewide special election)

Wednesday, April 22: The previously planned early release has been cancelled. April 22 will now be a full day of school.

Kindergarten Orientation: Due to these changes, Mantua will no longer be able to hold Kindergarten Orientation on April 22. Instead, Kindergarten Orientation will now be held on May 13th from 2 PM to 3 PM.

Movement Monday Is Back
We are looking forward to having our families and students come join us for some walking/jogging around the track on Monday mornings. Everyone is welcome! Rocky Raccoon also loves this, so he let us know that he will be making lots of appearances on those days as well.
- When: April 13th – June 15th
- Times: 8:30 AM - 9:05 AM (we will send the students to their classes at 9:05!)
Movement Monday is cancelled in inclement weather.

We are excited to welcome author Josh Funk to our PM Preschool, Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade students on Thursday, April 23.
