We hope everyone had a great spring break, a happy Easter, a happy Passover.
We are looking forward to welcoming our students back tomorrow, Tuesday, April 7. Please remember that Friday, April 10 is a school planning day. Teachers will be engaged in learning and planning together.

FCPS 2025-26 School Year Calendar
🌻Garden Work at Haycock on Saturday 4/11, 10am-Noon
Join us to move topsoil, spread mulch, pull weeds and prepare our gardens for the Spring! Bring garden rakes, gloves, shovels and any wagons or wheelbarrows you have to share.
Be sure to wear sturdy shoes and clothes for digging and moving around. Students welcome, accompanied by adults. No sign up needed, just meet by the playground.

The Haycock Auction is back and bigger than ever, featuring 200+ amazing items and experiences up for grabs! This year, we’re celebrating Haycock’s 70th anniversary with a 1970s disco bash. Dust off those bell-bottoms and shine up your platform shoes for an unforgettable evening of delicious food, refreshing drinks, groovy games, dancing the night away, and of course, the auction! When: Saturday, Apr 18th, 2026 (7:00 – 10:00 pm) *This is a 21+ event Where: Knights of Columbus (5115 Little Falls Rd, Arlington, VA 22207)

Here are the SOL testing dates for the spring. Please avoid making appointments or planning trips on the dates of SOL testing for your child's grade level. Our teachers are working so hard to prepare our student well for these end of year tests.
