Hello Halley Families!
This is a reminder that Halley Elementary's office will be closed due to Spring Break from Monday, March 30th until Friday, April 3rd.
Monday, April 6th is a Teacher Work Day. There will be no school for students.
School will resume on Tuesday, April 7th! We look forward to seeing all of our Hornets upon their return from Spring Break on the 7th.

Halley Family Curriculum Week
April 13th thru April 17th
During the week of April 13th, we invite all Halley families to join us in celebrating the amazing efforts of your child and their teacher. Curriculum week is an annual tradition at Halley ES which allow teachers in all grade levels to showcase the work of your talented students.
Be on the lookout for fliers from your clasroom teacher regarding date and time of your child's curriculum day.

April Early Release Wednesday Canceled
Tuesday, April 21, is a teacher workday and staff development day because of a recently announced Virginia special election that will impact all FCPS schools.
Students will now have a traditional full day of instruction and be released at the regular dismissal time on April 29th, which was previously an early release Wednesday for elementary schools.
This adjustment allows our staff to still have dedicated time for planning, collaboration, and professional learning without reducing instructional time on other school days. Read Dr. Reid’s letter to elementary parents for more details.
