Principal's Message

We had a wonderful 5 day week of learning at Chesterbrook ahead of Spring Break. Today was also the close of the third quarter. I truly enjoyed watching our news crew walk in on Tuesday morning and within a few minutes, get right to work on the morning news. They were pros directing the set and managing all the technology. This showcases the PTA dollars at work, modernizing technology equipment in recent years.

It is hard to believe how quickly this year is moving along and we are already welcoming April. Spring blossoms on our tree out front even made a timely appearance for our class photos taken this week, although a bit cold we had some sun to showcase our smiles. Student class photos will appear in our yearbook, so make sure that you place your order as extras will be limited- link below. Orders will close soon after the break.

The front office will be closed over the break but if you have an urgent need, you may email me, I will be working some of next week. Monday, April 6th is a teacher workday with the front office open. This may be a good day to check our lost and found which is overflowing!

Have a wonderful Spring Break and I look forward to welcoming everyone back on Tuesday, April 7th.

Sincerely,

Stacy Kirkpatrick, Principal

Vinson Hall Spring Partnership Project

Community Partnerships Thriving

Some of our 3rd Graders enjoyed a special spring visit to the residents of Vinson Hall! Despite a rainy walk, students had a wonderful time painting flower pots and sharing smiles. Our 3rd Graders created spring themed window catchers as a gift to the residents to usher in springtime weather and sunshine.  It was a joyful way to welcome spring and head into Spring Break! 🌸
