Your child's class and individual photos are available for viewing and purchasing online at Victor O'Neill Studios. Just Input your child's student ID#.

Any sixth grader who has not had a chance to order a Panoramic photo, it's not too late!  All orders using this link will ship to the address entered at checkout.

Purple Up Day

Support Military Children 

We invite all employees, students, families, and community members to “Purple Up!” on Wednesday, April 15, for military children.

Why purple? Because purple symbolizes all branches of the military as a combination of Army green, Marine Corps red, and the blue of the Coast Guard, Navy, Air Force, and Space Force.


Renovation

Big Changes Coming to Willow Springs!

Exciting news, Willow Springs families! We are officially gearing up for a major transformation of our campus. To better serve our growing community, construction on several new additions and building renovations is scheduled to begin in the Summer of 2026.

We want everyone to stay informed as we pave the way for an even better learning environment for our students.

WSES Field Day is Back!

Get ready to bring the energy, WSES! We are thrilled to announce that our favorite day of the year is officially on the calendar. Mark your schedules for a day of teamwork, sunshine, and school spirit.

Grades K-3 and Enhanced Autism: 1:30 -3:30 pm

Rest up and enjoy your time off! We will share more details—including station activities and how you can get involved—right after Spring Break.

World FestivalWe invite YOU to join us for our international festival!!

Willow World Festival

We invite YOU to join us for our international festival!! It is planned for April 17 from 6-8 PM. We are currently looking for people interested in hosting tables, hosting tables with food, or performing. Use this link for sign ups.

Tables and potluck will be open from 6 - 7:30 PM. We will close the evening with several live performances from 7:30-8 PM.

We are asking that families RSVP for the event so we can plan for food and prizes! If you plan to attend, please use this RSVP form.

Unleash Your Creativity!

Looking for ways to keep your student engaged, active, and inspired this summer? We are kicking off our summer opportunities list with some fantastic arts programs hosted by Fairfax County Public Schools. Whether your child is a budding Picasso, a future Broadway star, or just loves to move and groove, there is something for everyone!


🎨 Featured Opportunity: FCPS Fine & Performing Arts Camps

Registration is open now through June 5, but don’t wait—classes are filling up fast! These camps are held at Robinson Secondary School and are open to all students (FCPS, private, homeschool, and out-of-county).

The Essentials:

  • Time: 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. (Early drop-off at 7:30 a.m. and aftercare until 5:00 p.m. available).

  • Transport: Bus transportation is provided at no extra cost from select FCPS middle and high schools.

  • Tuition: Assistance is available for FCPS students eligible for Free and Reduced Meals.

For Our Elementary Students (Grades K–5)

Elementary Institute for the Arts (E-IFTA) Students rotate daily through art, music, theatre, and dance. It’s a joyful, age-appropriate environment led by expert FCPS arts teachers.

Book Club

Parent Teacher Book Club!

We’re diving into Jonathan Haidt’s The Anxious Generation to discuss the impact of the digital age on our kids. Facilitated by Mrs. Mukherjee (K) and Mrs. Wood (Tech).

The Willow Springs PTA is proud to offer our first Parent-Teacher Book Club,  which will take place via Zoom on the following dates at 7PM: 

  • April 15
  • May 6 or 13 (TBD)

Please complete the form found here to register.  A Zoom link will be sent in advance of the meeting.

This event series is open to all Willow Springs teachers and staff, parents, and caregivers. Participants are asked to commit to attending all four sessions. Participation is limited to 20 individuals

Registration and Orientation

If your child will attend Willow Springs, please gather necessary documents and complete registration forms as soon as possible.

Kindergarten Orientation will take place on Friday, April 10 for registered students.
