 Spring Break
🌷 Schools and school offices will be closed March 30 to April 3 for Spring Break. Monday, April 6, is a teacher work day and there will be no school for students.
April Statewide Election
There will be no school for students on Tuesday, April 21, for the Virginia statewide election. Student activities, athletic practices, and events may proceed as scheduled.
April Early Release
The Early Release Wednesday on April 22 has been cancelled. School will be regular hours 9:15 am-4:00 pm.

Kindergarten Orientation!
We are excited to welcome our newest Kangas!
Kindergarten Orientation will be held on April 10 at 9:30 AM. This is a wonderful opportunity for incoming kindergarten students and their families to visit the school, meet our staff, and learn more about what to expect in the year ahead.

Kindergarten Registration: It’s as Easy as 1-2-3…
There’s an easy five-step process for parents wanting to register their child for kindergarten:
- Determine eligibility.
- Identify your local school.
- Gather documents.
- Fill out forms.
- Schedule an appointment.
After the appointment at the school (the student and one caregiver must be present), the student will be ready for orientation or any other introductory events our school may host. Try Online Registration Parents may register their children online for kindergarten through 12th grade. Learn how to begin the online registration process. When registering, parents will create or log in to an existing SIS ParentVUE account.

 GET READY FOR OUR KANGA FUN RUN FUNDRAISER
The Booster fundraiser is coming soon to Keene Mill! We are raising $25,000 to expand our Maker Space, improve sound equipment, upgrade outdoor spaces, and support academic and social-emotional growth. During this fundraiser, families can earn donations online to help reach our school goal, and on the final day, all students will participate in our Kanga Fun Run to celebrate!
Families will gather donations through MyBooster.com by simply sharing your student’s page with friends and family. Every share makes a difference! Sign up at MyBooster.com starting April 1st. The program’s kickoff is April 15th and the Fun Run will take place on the fields behind the school on April 23rd.
