Outdoor Dining
Outdoor dining will begin after spring break. We have designated Tuesday-Thursday as days for parents to enjoy lunch outdoors with their child. Please use the Outdoor Lunch Sign Up to select a date. We ask parents to be mindful of others and not sign up more than once/twice per month.
- Keep in mind that you will need a valid driver's license or passport to enter school. After you sign in you will be asked to stand at Door 5 to wait for your child.
- Once you have your child you can leave the building at Door 5 and proceed to the blue picnic tables.
- When lunch is over, escort your child back to the building (ring the bell) so they can line up with their class for recess.
- If their class is coming outside as you are finishing lunch hand your child over to the teacher.
Parents must come back to the office to sign out.

April Early Release Wednesdays Canceled
Elementary Early Release Wednesday Update for AprilTuesday, April 21, is now a teacher workday and staff development day because of a recently announced special election that will impact all FCPS schools.
Students will now have a traditional full day of instruction and be released at the regular dismissal time on April 22 and April 29, which were previously early release Wednesdays for elementary schools.
This adjustment allows our staff to still have dedicated time for planning, collaboration, and professional learning without reducing instructional time on other school days.Read Dr. Reid’s letter to elementary parents for more details.

Come one come all to our Sweet Dreams Art Gala! You will be amazed and inspired by the work you see our students have created.

Chag Sameach to all in our community celebrating Passover! For Jewish communities, this holiday celebrates the deliverance of Jewish people from slavery in Egypt. Many Jewish families eat a ceremonial meal known as the Seder, which involves telling the story of the exodus from Egypt as well as eating various symbolic foods. #OurFCPS

Today we recognize those in our community observing Good Friday. On this day, the Friday before Easter, Christians observe the commemoration of the sacrifice and death of Jesus on the cross. #OurFCPS
A joyful Easter to all in our community who celebrate! The springtime celebration of Easter is the most important Christian holiday. It commemorates the resurrection of Jesus, who Christians believe suffered and died on the cross for the salvation of the world and the forgiveness of sins. Through his own resurrection on Easter, Christians believe Jesus offers the hope of eternal life with God after death. #OurFCPS
