Community Peer Opportunity for ECCB & PAC:
North Springfield ES will be hosting Community Peers in our preschool special education programs next year. The Community Peer Program provides an opportunity for preschoolers with all abilities to work and play on a regular basis.
Our program will invite Community Peers, who are aged 3 - 4 years old, to join our classroom. The Early Childhood Special Education Program uses a child-centered approach to learning. The goal of this program is to encourage active learning and promote social interaction and acceptance.
Please complete this interest form if you would like your 3-4 year old child to be considered for the Community Peer Program. Submitting the request will result in an invite to attend a Community Playdate at North Springfield ES on April 10th.
If you have any questions, please contact Becky Ferguson, Early Childhood Special Education Class Based Teacher, at referguson@fcps.edu or 703-658-5511.
