LRES Community News 3.22.26

Message from Mrs. Castillo

Principal with Students at Arrival

This has been a glorious spring weekend! I hope everyone was able to get out and enjoy the weather.  Staff look forward to nearly a full week of learning as we wrap up the 3rd quarter on Friday, March 27 with a 2-hour early release for all students.

If you haven't already, please take a few minutes to complete the FCPS Family Engagement Survey that was emailed to you earlier in March.  We will receive the survey results and use your feedback to plan for next year.  The survey is open through tomorrow, Monday, March 23.

Lemon Road teachers & staff use a collaborative approach to planning homeroom classes for each year.  One part of that process is welcoming input from parents & guardians.  Be on the lookout for the optional class placement survey coming soon.  Parent input is loaded into our placement program and will only be accepted through the specific survey prior to the collaborative meetings.

As spring fever hits, please remind your child of our school expectations: being respectful, outstanding, attentive, and responsible at Lemon Road.
