March 19, 2026
Happy Thursday—Friday Junior, Panther Families! 😊
With no school tomorrow (Friday, March 20, 2026), we’re sending our News You Choose today to keep you informed and ahead of the week.
This is an important reminder that school begins promptly at 7:30 a.m., and all students are expected to be in class, seated, and ready to learn at the first bell. Students can enter the building at 7:10 a.m. Administration will be closely monitoring first-bell tardies. While we extended grace during the winter months and inclement weather, we are now returning to full expectations. Students who are habitually late and unexcused will receive consequences. Thank you to the many students who arrive on time each day and set the standard for excellence; we appreciate you!
We have a busy and exciting week ahead! On Wednesday, March 25, our AVID program invites students to wear college t-shirts or sweatshirts as we celebrate our College Fair during the school day.
That evening, our SCA proudly presents its signature event: “I See Me in Reston” from 5:30–7:00 p.m. Join us as our Panther community comes together to celebrate the diverse cultures that make Reston such a vibrant and special place. It will be an evening filled with food, art, music, and cultural pride! Families can participate in several ways:
- Bring a dish for the Community Potluck Table;
- Host a Cultural Showcase Table (share crafts, artifacts, or traditions);
- Perform a musical or dance piece representing your culture.
Be sure to complete the “I See Me in Reston” Sign-Up Form if you would like to participate. We would love to see you there!
