A Message from the PTA President
Dear Hunt Valley Families,
Thanks so much for all the support this week for our Spring Book Fair! It has been a lot of fun watching the excitement of the students as they’ve perused the book fair choices. Friendly reminder: tomorrow is the last day to buy. If you’d still like to purchase something on a teacher’s wishlist, let me know and we will make it happen!
Next week is all about SCIENCE! On Wednesday, the 18th, our budding scientific minds will have their works on display and will be proudly presenting!
Science Fair/STEAM timeline:
**8:00-9:00am Families can drop off their student’s Science Fair materials inside the gym
**During School: student classrooms will have the opportunity for a short preview of all the Science Fair projects
**Early Dismissal Wednesday: students are released at 1:05pm
**5:15-6:15 Science Fair projects in the gym can be viewed by the community
**6:00-8:00 STEAM Night begins! Science Fair portion will remain open for community viewing
**8:00-8:30 Families will pack up their Science Fair project
I hope to see you all at Science/STEAM night! It’s sure to be a lot of fun!
Don’t forget to sign up for Spring After School Activities. Sign ups close on Wednesday, March 18. See flyers below!

2026-2027 Board and Chair Positions
Although it seems early, it’s time to begin prepping for the May PTA election. We have a few openings for next year’s board, listed below. Our PTA structure allows for multiple VP’s, each having oversight in different areas. The current board members are looking for several interested parents to take on and learn these VP roles for next school year.
2025-2026 PTA Board
● Vice President: Acts as a key aide to the President, focusing on operational support, committee oversight, and stepping into leadership when necessary.
● Secretary: Organizes meetings, takes minutes, keeps records, manages social media posts, attends and supports PTA-sponsored events, creates meeting and marketing paraphernalia, and performs other delegated duties as assigned.
Current Committee Chairs, please reach out to express your intentions for next school year. Parents/Guardians, please reach out if you’d like to become more involved in a non-elected position.

Spring After School Activities
Registration for Spring After School Activities is open! Scan the QR codes below! Sign up between now and March 18th. As always, parent volunteers are needed to make these activities happen. Parent volunteers are eligible for a free spot for their student! Please email afterschoolactivities@huntvalleypta.org if you are interested.
