Interested?! Please let us know which position you’re interested in, or nominate a friend that you think would be a great fit!  Please reach out to

FOOD FOR OTHERS!

We NEED YOUR HELP! Food for Others still has many dates open for volunteers to help! Please consider signing up here!

It only takes about an hour and makes a HUGE impact in our community.

The wonderful Wolftrap community has been collecting food for Food For Others, a nonprofit that collects food and donates it to the local community in need.

We need volunteers to pick up the food from the PTA closet on Fridays between 2:00-3:00 p.m. and drop off at the Loading Dock at the Food For Others warehouse.

Please see the additional dates through the end of the school year.  Please note March 27 and June 17 are half days.

The food is located in the refrigerator of the PTA Closet (in the cafeteria) and will need to be put in the cooler and bags and brought to your car and dropped off at: 2938 Prosperity Ave., Fairfax VA.

The cooler would need to be returned to the PTA Closet by 10:30 a.m. on Mondays to help collect for the following week.

Please contact Michelle Scalise at (917) 499-4419 or mzscalise@gmail.com with any questions.

SKATE NIGHT RECAP

A note from the Skating Commitee:

What a night! Last weekend’s PTA Skate Night was one for the books, our best-attended event in nearly three years, with over 250 skaters hitting the rink! It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces from our Wolftrap Elementary community come together for a night of fun, laughter, and a few wobbly first laps.

We were thrilled to have some of our favorite teachers lace up alongside students and families, and of course, the evening wouldn’t have been complete without the beloved tradition of the 6th Grade Final Skate, a bittersweet and celebratory moment for our soon-to-be middle schoolers.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made this night so special. Events like these are a reminder of just how lucky we are to be part of the Wolftrap community!
