Attendance Matters

Day 109

Dranesville's current chronic absentee rate is 9.9%. Last year on the 109th day of school, Dranesville's chronic absentee rate was 15.7%.

Thank you for your continued partnership in prioritizing daily, on-time attendance. Every day your student is in class, they are engaging in  grade-level instruction, targeted interventions, and enrichment activities that fuel their growth and achievement. Consistency is key to ensuring students are prepared for upcoming instruction and spring assessments.

We kindly ask that you refer to the FCPS calendar and, to the greatest extent possible, schedule appointments and vacations during school breaks. Let’s work together to finish the school year strong!
