CELEBRATE SUCCESS AT VES: SCHOOL-WIDE ASSEMBLY
Question: What’s better than finishing the 3rd quarter?
Answer: Celebrating it with the loudest, proudest assembly of the year!
Friday, March 27th is a massive Spirit Day at VES. We want to see every student and staff member in their Spirit Wear or red and black attire.
We’re gathering to “Celebrate Success at VES” and honor everything our Vikings have accomplished this term. Let's make some noise for a great third quarter!
SCHOOL VISITORS NEW APP
Safety is our top priority, but we know your time is valuable, too.
Vienna Elementary is now using the Raptor Visitor Management System (VMS). This FCPS-wide upgrade ensures every visitor is screened against the sex offender registry, adding an essential layer of security to our halls.
To make your next visit seamless, we recommend downloading the RaptorSafe App. By creating a "Raptor Passport," you can pre-verify your information before you even leave the house. Just scan your personalized QR code at the front office and you’re good to go!

COMMUNITY PARTNERS: DONATED DENTAL BAGS
February was National Children’s Dental Health Month, and we are so grateful for the community partners who help our students shine. A special shoutout to Dr. Ghaffari’s Orthodontics, a proud sponsor of our PTA’s Fun Run, for donating dental bags for every single student. These kits will be distributed throughout the week to help our Vikings keep those smiles bright!

MADISON PYRAMID: DAY OF SERVICE
In the Madison Pyramid, we believe our schools and neighborhood are "Our Shared Home." To celebrate this, we are excited to share more about our Day of Service on Wednesday, April 15, 2026.
This day moves learning beyond the classroom, helping students grow as Ethical and Global Citizens. Through hands-on service, students will learn that they have the power to strengthen their community through intentional, compassionate action. Each school will participate in unique ways tailored to their students' ages and interests.
We look forward to partnering with you to make this day a success. In our upcoming communications, we will share specific ways you can help, including a link to our Amazon Wish List for project supplies.

 Attendance is Important
Virginia requires Attendance Conferences for students who miss 10 days of school for any reason. Please contact us today to schedule your phone conference. We want to help!
- There’s not much we can do about the winter weather, but there are two key steps every parent can take to help avoid absences this year: Make back-up plans for bad weather and keep your children healthy.
- Absences, even if they are excused, can add up to academic trouble. This is as true in kindergarten as it is in high school.
