🗨️DiBari's Dispatch

Hey Hawk Family–

I want to thank you all for welcoming me in my first week at Hayfield! It’s clear that this is a fantastic place full of hard-working staff and students, who are proud of this school. I’ve been able to meet many wonderful people this week and see some great things both in and out of the classroom. Shout out to our performing arts department who hosted two separate Pre-Assessment Concerts (Orchestra and Band) and our DramaHawks with 2 performances of True Crime Frankenstein. Also, congrats to our Girl’s Basketball team who continues to roll in the post-season. There is a ton to celebrate here at Hayfield!

While I am already getting to know a lot of people in the building, I’m looking forward to meeting more of you in the community. In the coming weeks, you can expect to see information about a variety of parent coffees or meet-and-greets. I will be doing these at multiple times to allow for a variety of opportunities. Also, please feel free to come up and say hi at any of our events, as you will frequently see me out and about. I’m looking forward to meeting you all.

I wish you all a fantastic week…Go Hawks!

📢Hawk Highlights

hayfield administration

We were very excited to welcome Principal Tony DiBari to the Hawk’s Nest this week! He had a strong and energizing first week at Hayfield, already connecting with students, staff, and families across our community. We are excited for his leadership and look forward to all he has in store for the Hawks.

ℹ️School Counseling Information

Our counseling team continues to meet with students to wrap up academic advising and finalize course selections for next year. This is a great time for families to talk with their students about their course load, goals, and interests. We encourage students to challenge themselves academically while also maintaining a healthy balance that allows time for activities, friendships, and simply being a kid. Thoughtful planning now helps set students up for both success and well-being in the year ahead.

🎭Student Activities

Hawks Winter Sports: Excellence On and Off the Field

Our Hawks have soared to impressive heights both in the classroom and on the field this 2025-2026 Winter Sports season! With 16 teams and 297 student-athletes participating in our vibrant program, the dedication to excellence is clear across the board. Most impressively, our athletes continue to prioritize their studies, with 174 students achieving a 3.5 GPA or higher during the season, contributing to an outstanding combined unweighted GPA of 3.28. This balance of athletic drive and academic commitment truly reflects the spirit of our Hawks community—congratulations to all our players and coaches on these stellar achievements!
