Hello Families, Teachers, and Staff,
The PTSA has been hard at work planning fundraisers to finish out the year as we still have a lot planned!! Please see the info below for a Pizza fundraiser at Old Dominion, we are pairing it with the Sophomore College Planning Night. We will also be celebrating Pi Day at the school on Friday, March 13. See information for both events below.
Sophomore College Night Restaurant Fundraiser - Tuesday March 10th!
The PTSA will be holding a restaurant night fundraiser at Old Dominion Pizza in the City of Fairfax from 4-9pm on Tuesday, March 10th! This is perfect for an easy dinner especially for those families who plan to attend the Sophomore College Night from 6:30pm-8pm. Even if you will not attend the Sophomore night, please participate in our fundraiser!!!
The PTSA will earn 20% of sale proceeds when the code "COLLEGE" is provided. Online, in-person and phone orders are all welcome! Join us and spread the word and help us support student volunteers and field trips, teacher programs and hospitality events.

Pi Day Krispy Kreme Fundraiser - Friday March 13th!
The PTSA plans to sell Krispy Kreme donuts and Mini Pies during school lunch hours from 11:15am-1:30pm. Please consider donating "Pi" contributions or volunteering to support the fundraising event Pi Day Fundraiser Sign-Up.
Please let your kids know about the fundraiser too! We will be accepting electronic payments including Apple Pay (subject to a minimum) but cash is preferred .

Mock SAT (digital) or Mock ACT (paper), Mar. 7
FHS Academic Boosters is partnering with Applerouth Tutoring to offer the Mock SAT (digital format) and the Mock ACT (paper format) exams again this school year: Saturday, March 7th.
This is a perfect opportunity for students of all grades who haven’t started testing to become familiar with the format in a stress-free environment at FHS for only $25. Students will receive detailed score reports to help them determine which areas they need to study.
Students taking the Mock SAT must bring a fully charged computer.
March 7th tests:

Presenter: Erin Slater, Director of Undergraduate Admissions, University of North Carolina Greensboro
This is an informative and fun program specifically designed to help 10th graders and parents/guardians plan for college. You will learn about what colleges are looking for, how to choose a school, and the college admissions process. The presentation includes a mock admission exercise. Come learn how Admissions Officers make their decisions!
You will not want to miss this important event!

A couple of parents and I toured the St. James facility a few weeks ago. Please come tonight to hear about the St. James and to help us decide how to make this party awesome for our seniors!
Don’t forget to order your senior magnets and yard signs for your seniors. Not only are these great ways to celebrate your student but it’s a fundraiser for All Night Grad.
