VIP Camp (Value in Prevention)
Hello Glasgow Families! Do you have a rising 6th, 7th, or 8th grader? Are you looking for a fun, engaging, and enriching way for them to spend the summer? We’re excited to announce that VIP Camp (Value in Prevention) will be hosted at Glasgow Middle School this summer!
📅 Dates: July 1, 2026 – July 30, 2026
🕗 Time: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday–Friday
🚌 Transportation provided
🍳 Breakfast and lunch provided

We’re excited to announce that VIP Camp for rising 6th, 7th, and 8th graders is just around the corner!

Silent Auction - Save the Date!
The Glasgow Middle School PTA will host an online Silent Auction from March 2–8, 2026. This is our primary fundraiser of the year, and all are welcome to participate. Proceeds support classroom materials, technology, educational programs, and special initiatives for our school community.
Check out the auction items already live! We have generous donations from Great Country Farms and Bluemont Winery, bartaco, Duangrat's Thai, 5 Wits, Pure Barre, GWU gymnastic, and more!

Celebrating 2nd Quarter Honor Roll
We are proud of the hard work students have been doing so far this year in all of their classes and we look forward to celebrating students who have earned either All A or A/B Honor Roll. All A and A/B Honor Roll Certificates will be handed out in FIT on Thursday, February 26th.
Please congratulate students on all of their hard work!
We're getting ready for the wonderful time of year that is Music in Our Schools Month! I have attached a flier for our Spirit Week the first week of March!
We are excited to invite you to our annual Hoop It Up Night at Glasgow Middle School! This is always a fantastic evening of school spirit, community, and great basketball — and we hope you will join us.
Doors open at 5:30 PM. Program runs from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
The evening will begin with our Girls Basketball Team taking the court. Following their game, we will enjoy a special performance by our talented GMS Dance Team, and then the night will wrap up with our Boys Basketball Team in action.
Admission is $5 (cash only) at the door.Concessions and pizza will be available for purchase.
Students are asked to attend with an adult so we can ensure a safe and enjoyable event for everyone.
Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) is gearing up to honor and celebrate its military-connected youth in April, the Month of the Military Child, and on Purple Up! Day!
This year, Virginia will celebrate Purple Up! Day on Wednesday, April 15, 2026. Purple Up! Day is a special day for communities to come together and wear purple as a visible gesture of support for our military-connected youth and their families. Purple symbolizes the combined colors of all branches of the military.
FCPS Purple Up! T-shirts and other items are available for purchase now through Wednesday, March 11, 2026, in our Custom Ink online store. These items highlight our gratitude and appreciation for our 14,500 military-connected students and their families. #PurpleUpFCPS!
