Mantua Read-a-Thon
The fifth annual Read-a-Thon runs from Monday, February 23rd through Friday, March 6th.
Our theme this year is "Be a Gold Medal Reader." All Mantua students are eligible to participate, and we have exciting prizes planned for this year.
Please pay attention to emails and Tuesday folder announcements for important Read-a-Thon information.

Mantua Book Fair
Go for the gold and be a reading champion! Mantua Elementary’s book fair will run from 2/25/26 to 3/4/26. Open during Family Engagement Night 2/26 5:30 – 7:30 PM and also on Saturday 2/28 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM (coffee and donut truck on site!).

🔬 Science Fair Judges Needed 🧪
With over 40 amazing projects, the Science Fair is in need of lots of judges! The event takes place on Friday, March 13. No experience or scientific background is necessary. Please give an hour of your time to these brave and hardworking scientists and engineers.

Raccoon Runners Spring Registration
Raccoon Runners Spring Season Registration will open on March 1 at 8 AM. The season will begin on March 10 and run through May 8, ending with the Raccoon Run on May 9.
Mantua ES Raccoon Runners is a positive youth development program for third through sixth graders, empowering them to be true to themselves through lessons in positive body image, health and nutrition, and social awareness. Registration fee includes a t-shirt, snacks after each practice, and the Raccoon Run registration for your runner. We filled up fast in the Fall so remember to set your reminders for March 1 to register!

Spring Enrichment Registration Is Open
Mantua PTA has paired with Baroody Camps to bring you another exciting selection of classes! Classes will run March 9th through May 14th. Spring registration begins at 10 AM February 19th and ends Sunday March 1st at 11:59 PM.

🌷 Woodson Mulch Sale 🌿
The annual Woodson Mulch Sale has arrived! Freshen up your flower beds and support the Woodson High School Leadership and Sports Leadership Classes at the same time.
The Leadership Classes are once again offering high-quality shredded hardwood mulch for purchase. Orders for 3-cubic-foot bags of mulch must be received by Thursday, March 5, for pick-up at Woodson or delivery to your home on Sunday, March 15. When placing an order for 10 or more bags, delivery is an option.
All mulch will be delivered on Sunday, March 15, beginning at 8:30 AM. The proceeds benefit the Woodson High School Leadership and Sports Leadership Classes and support their activities.

Mantua yearbooks for the 25-26 school year are now available to order. All orders are done online and cost $20.
