The Edison Expo is this Thursday, February 26 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and open to all! Come see your classmates' projects and be there to witness which grade will win the Egg Drop Challenge. Will it be 5th or 6th grade??
6:00-7:00 p.m.: Edison Expo
7:00-8:00 p.m.: Egg Drop Challenge
For those with projects to set up, please plan to arrive at 5:45 p.m. to set up your project so we can get started at 6:00. For those with egg drop contraptions, please arrive by 6:45 p.m. so we can check you in and place the egg in your contraption.

This year’s 6th graders will be celebrated in style on Friday, June 12 at a breakfast ceremony. The promotion ceremony has been scaled back to its
pre-Covid days. Families will join for a hot breakfast, a brief ceremony, and the celebratory hall walk. If you would like to help, please email ashleyeuhl@gmail.com; or just wait for the sign up genius to come out. This will include spots for set up & clean up volunteers, food donations, and more!

Back by popular demand - please join the Wolftrap Community Saturday March 7th from 6:10-8:10 p.m. at Reston SkateQuest for Skate Night! This is a fun event to bring the Wolftrap community together and we encourage everyone to come and skate. No minimum skating ability is required and everyone is welcome! There will be a variety of music to appeal to all Wolftrap attendees, students, teachers and parents alike!
Tickets are $12 per person prior to the event. The price goes up to $15 per person at the door. Tickets include skate pass, skate rentals and a glow stick. Additional glow stick bundles will be available for $3. The snack bar will be open for food and drink purchases.
Please note that all Wolftrap teachers and admin get one ticket free!
This is not a drop off event. Please be sure to indicate an adult that will be present and responsible for your child during Skate Night in case of an emergency.

Congratulations to all our students who competed in Odyssey of the Mind this past Saturday! Because rules strictly prohibit adult assistance, every prop, punch line, and problem solved was the result of the student's invention and imagination! The results were spectacular! Thank you so much to Mrs. Burdett for her leadership, and to her and all of the coaches for their guidance
as they empowered our kids.

The WES 5K Pajama Jog is coming up on April 19, 2026, and it’s our biggest fundraiser of the year! That means we need an elite squad of creative minds, logistical legends, fundraising phenoms, and people who simply enjoy checking things off lists. (Seriously—no amount of help is too small!)

The all-new 2026 Camp Invention® program is coming to curious kids in the Wolftrap community from July 20th to 24th! Inspire innovative thinking with fun-filled STEM experiences designed to spark creativity and a love for learning. Rising K-6 campers will collaborate with friends to tackle hands-on, open-ended challenges. They’ll team up with robotic capybaras, ride the waves of entrepreneurship, uncover the power of protecting their ideas and build their own DIY space rocket! Each experience is designed to spark confidence, build persistence and create unforgettable summer memories.

Wolftrap's official 2025-2026 Yearbook is now on sale through April 8th! Order via MySchoolBucks. For those new to the platform, you will have to create an account, which will link to your student(s) and let you access the Wolftrap School Store to place an order. (Click on store home. You may see a past order date, if it is from 2025, it was last school year's order.)
Yearbooks will be distributed by the school at the end of the school year. April 8th is an absolute deadline.
