Hello Spring Hill Families!
Our ‘Once Upon a Science Fair/STEAM/Literacy Night’ is quickly approaching! We need your help in making it a standout event. Our Sign up Genius wish lists will close on March 4th. Giving just enough time to prep the materials for March 18th. Take a look at the wish lists, if there is something you can help us out with, we would be so grateful! The Science Fair, STEAM, and Literacy is a free event that will be held March 18th from 4:00 – 7:00pm. We would love to have your family join in the fun! This night will be filled with unique fairy tale inspired engineering activities, science, microscopes, microbit coding, literacy games, PTO donated raffles, and much more! If you and your family are planning to attend, please let us know when you plan to attend with this Family Sign-Up Genius. Time slots are 4:00 -5:30 and 5:30 – 7:00pm.
This is the final week for students to sign up for the Science Fair. The Science Fair link will be active through the weekend, please make sure to sign up by March 1, 2026. All of our Panthers are encouraged to participate, projects can be as simple or complex as you want! As an incentive to participate, PTO is generously donating raffle prizes for students who participate in the Science Fair.
Participating students will bring their science projects to school between 8:30 – 8:50 March 18th and take them home on March 19th after school. Students can donate their plastic free to the upcoming garden build (April 18th). If they want to do this they will be given a tag that will let us know to keep the board to use as weed barriers in the new garden.
Last, we need many volunteers to help keep everything running smoothly. If you have an older student who would like to volunteer at our event for volunteer hours, we are happy to sign off on them… OR… if you and your family would like to spend part of the evening helping, that would be great too!
