Kindness Counts Week!

Wednesday, February 18th – Friday, February 20th 

The Garfield  Ambassadors sponsoring a week to focus on kindness.  This is an important part of our on-going efforts to develop kind, caring citizens.  The spirit activities are as follows:

  • Wednesday, 2/18:  Students in grades K-6 will be given a kindness challenge checklist and encouraged to do as many kind deeds as they can in 1 week.  In addition, students in grades 2-6 will be given a secret pal for the remainder of the week.
    • Make someone smile with your actions!
  • Thursday, 2/19:  Write a kind note to your teacher letting them know how much you appreciate them! 
    • We Are Crazy for Kindness-You can wear “crazy” hair/accessories or a fun hat!                                                        
  • Friday, 2/20: Reveal your secret pal during the morning meeting. Say “Hello” to 5 people in the hallway. 
    • Dream of Kindness: Wear PJ’s!
