students celebrating the 100th day of school

Kings Park Families,

Last Friday’s 100th Day of School was full of energy and excitement. Kindness was also evident throughout the day as students honored a shared milestone, engaged in thoughtful Valentine exchanges, and made generous contributions to the Kindness Olympics Food Drive. We are proud of the way our students continue to demonstrate empathy, generosity, and school spirit in both big and small moments each  day.

Holiday celebrations and observances continue this week. Wishing good fortune to those in our community who are celebrating Lunar New Year today. Tomorrow marks Ash Wednesday and the beginning of Ramadan. We are grateful for the opportunity to learn from and about one another’s traditions and stories.

Superintendent Dr. Michelle Reid is encouraging all FCPS students, teachers, and staff to shake the wrinkles out of their brightest outfits and tropical wear to help brighten everyone’s moods on Thursday, February 19th. Let's see how much sunshine we can bring to Kings Park!

Mrs. Dotty Lin, Mrs. Jenn Burke and Mrs. Anna Kaplan
