EDISON EXPO AND EGG DROP CHALLENGE: FINAL WEEK TO REGISTER

Edison Expo - our science fair and engineering expo - is coming up next week on Thursday, February 26th at 6:00 p.m. All projects are welcome in any area of STEM! Please register your project and/or egg drop contraption THIS WEEK so we can plan for spacing and prizes!! It doesn't have to be done (or even started!) to register. Click here to find all the information you need, including instructions for both Edison Expo and the Egg Drop Challenge and registration forms.

Once you've registered your Edison Expo project, you can pick up a free tri-fold board in the hallway across from the office. You're welcome to use any display board you'd like, but the PTA has funded boards for those who want one.

Also, the Edison Expo is open to all! Come see your classmates' projects and be there to witness which grade will win the Egg Drop Challenge. Will it be 5th or 6th grade??

Be sure to contact edisonexpo@wolftrappta.org with any questions! We can't wait to see your projects!

FEBRUARY ARTIST IN THE MAKING (AIM)

Get ready for another Artist in the Making (AIM) project! We're trying something new this time - Instructions are pre-recorded, so you can watch on your own schedule. The link to the video was send out to the parent volunteers last week. If you didn't receive the email or you're interested in being a volunteer, please reach out to the AIM committee and we'll be happy to share with you.

Our February project spotlights the legendary Vincent Van Gogh- an artist whose work is instantly recognizable around the world. And soon, thanks to your amazing students, you'll have some beautiful mini-masterpieces inspired by "The Starry Night" ready to hang at home!

We can't wait to see what our talented Wolftrap artists create! Thank you so much for your volunteering your time in your child's classroom - we truly couldn't do this without you! Any questions? We're happy to help! Please email aim@wolftrappta.org

ANNUAL 5K JUST AROUND THE CORNER. YOU CAN HELP!

2026 5K

Calling All Heroes in Pajamas!
(Yes, you. Even if your superpower is just…ordering things online.)

The WES 5K Pajama Jog is coming up on April 19, 2026, and it’s our biggest fundraiser of the year! That means we need an elite squad of creative minds, logistical legends, fundraising phenoms, and people who simply enjoy checking things off lists. (Seriously—no amount of help is too small!)

Have 5 minutes to spare?

You can be in charge of ordering medals. Boom. Instant hero status.

Have a little more time?

Help us with fundraising, raffle baskets, food orders, logistics, or whatever mysterious magic makes a 5K run smoothly. We might even be bringing back the silent auction…

Have a LOT of time?

We love you. There are many ways you can help!

If you're interested in helping out with this year's 5K, please send an email to wolftrap5k@gmail.com!

TALENT SHOW RECAP!

A note from the Talent Show Committee:

The Wolftrap Talent Show was an incredible night and colorful celebration of creativity! Our students wowed us with their grace under pressure, as well as their dancing, acrobatics, singing, costumes, and humor. The audience was overwhelmingly supportive, and our emcee and Wolfie rose to the occasion with some quick improv to keep the show running smoothly and entertaining throughout. A special thank you goes to the many parent volunteers who made the event possible. And to our sixth grade performers and their families... we loved seeing you shine!

CAMP INVENTION RETURNS TO WOLFTRAP!
