It was great to spend a full week back together with our students and settle into our normal rhythm again. Our classrooms were buzzing with learning, and it was a joy to see students engaged and reconnecting with their routines. This week also brought many special celebrations, including Valentine’s Day, the 100th day of school, the 6th Grade Volleyball Tournament, and POG Night! Thank you to all of our families for joining in the celebrations and activities. See all the pictures in the newsletter, but be on the lookout for professional photos coming soon from Friday thanks to Victor O'Neill Photography!
We hope with the warmer temperatures, students can have outdoor recess next week. If the blacktop and playground still have snow on Tuesday, our Building Supervisor, Francisco, will be out trying to shovel and clear snow around 11 AM. He could really use some help on the Teacher Workday. If anyone is around and has a shovel, come by and help clear space for students to play!
As a reminder, Monday is a school holiday (Presidents Day, Lunar Near Year, and the first evening of Ramadan) and Tuesday is a Teacher Workday. We look forward to welcoming students back on Wednesday (which is an early release day at 11:55).
