Get ready for another Artist in the Making (AIM) project! We're trying something new this time - Instructions are pre-recorded, so you can watch on your own schedule. The link to the video was send out to the parent volunteers last week. If you didn't receive the email or you're interested in being a volunteer, please reach out to the AIM committee and we'll be happy to share with you.
Our February project spotlights the legendary Vincent Van Gogh- an artist whose work is instantly recognizable around the world. And soon, thanks to your amazing students, you'll have some beautiful mini-masterpieces inspired by "The Starry Night" ready to hang at home!
We can't wait to see what our talented Wolftrap artists create! Thank you so much for your volunteering your time in your child's classroom - we truly couldn't do this without you! Any questions? We're happy to help! Please email aim@wolftrappta.org.
Each year in the Wolftrap Yearbook, sixth grade parents are able to submit a short message to their student(s). The message should be 2-3 sentences, with a 300-character limit to ensure space for all.
Please submit your message by completing all questions in this form. If you have any questions, please contact the Yearbook Team at yearbook@wolftrappta.org. Deadline is February 18th.
Edison Expo - our science fair and engineering expo - is coming up in just TWO WEEKS on Thursday, February 26th at 6:00 p.m. All projects are welcome in any area of STEM! Click here to find all the information you need, including instructions for both Edison Expo and the Egg Drop Challenge and registration forms. Please register your project and/or egg drop contraption by next week so we can plan the space we need! It doesn't have to be done (or even started!) to register.
Once you've registered your Edison Expo project, you can pick up a free tri-fold board in the hallway across from the office. You're welcome to use any display board you'd like, but the PTA has funded boards for those who would like one.
Be sure to contact edisonexpo@wolftrappta.org with any questions about this exciting event! We can't wait to see your projects!
Thanks to everyone who has already sent in pictures to the yearbook. We are still in need of pictures particularly from the following homeroom classes: Dyer, Cohen, McAdams, Wagner, Batsel, Perkins, Bennett, Cassedy, Rubin, Cubbage, Hazelgrove, and Igodan. Please send pictures to yearbook@wolftrappta.org.
Wolftrap's official 2025-2026 Yearbook is now on sale through April 8th! Order via MySchoolBucks. For those new to the platform, you will have to create an account, which will link to your student(s) and let you access the Wolftrap School Store to place an order. (Click on store home. You may see a past order date, if it is from 2025, it was last school year's order.)
Yearbooks will be distributed by the school at the end of the school year. April 8th is an absolute deadline.
Please also continue to send any pictures to yearbook@wolftrappta.org. We are still in need of pictures from all grades and events.
Calling All Heroes in Pajamas! (Yes, you. Even if your superpower is just…ordering things online.)
The WES 5K Pajama Jog is coming up on April 19, 2026, and it’s our biggest fundraiser of the year! That means we need an elite squad of creative minds, logistical legends, fundraising phenoms, and people who simply enjoy checking things off lists. (Seriously—no amount of help is too small!)
Have 5 minutes to spare?
You can be in charge of ordering medals. Boom. Instant hero status.
Have a little more time?
Help us with fundraising, raffle baskets, food orders, logistics, or whatever mysterious magic makes a 5K run smoothly. We might even be bringing back the silent auction…
Have a LOT of time?
We love you. There are many ways you can help!
If you're interested in helping out with this year's 5K, please send an email to wolftrap5k@gmail.com!
The all-new 2026 Camp Invention® program is coming to curious kids in the Wolftrap community from July 20th to 24th! Inspire innovative thinking with fun-filled STEM experiences designed to spark creativity and a love for learning. Rising K-6 campers will collaborate with friends to tackle hands-on, open-ended challenges. They’ll team up with robotic capybaras, ride the waves of entrepreneurship, uncover the power of protecting their ideas and build their own DIY space rocket! Each experience is designed to spark confidence, build persistence and create unforgettable summer memories.
Visit invent.org/mylocalcamp to secure your spot! Use promo code SUM20 to save $20. Families registering multiple campers can save by using SIBSAVE30 to save $60 when you enroll two campers, and save $120 by using SIBSAVE40 when you enroll three or more campers! Payment plans are available.
