PTA Directory
First, I want to apologize for the delay in this year’s PTA directory. The good news? The delay is for an exciting reason! We are transitioning to a new online directory through RunPTO, which is more secure and packed with useful features.
No more sharing a single username and password! Our new directory allows you to search, sort, and filter information easily. You’ll also have more control over your own information, with the ability to update it whenever needed. The directory is browser- and mobile-friendly, and can be viewed or exported in PDF, Word, or Excel formats.
Each PTA member will receive access to the online directory as part of their membership. The Mantua PTA Student Directory includes student names, teachers, parent names, and email addresses of Mantua ES families, along with some important school information. The information provided to the school at the time of your child’s registration will be used to create the directory.
Most families choose to include their information, as the directory is a valuable resource for parents, students, and faculty throughout the school year. Geobee DC Regionals
Congratulations to Aras Cavus, Roland Komiss, Lleyton LaBeau, and Sogdiana Nasimov, who competed in the International Academic Competition (IAC) DC Regional Geography Bee at Georgetown Day School on Saturday, January 31.
All four students advanced through three preliminary rounds to reach the final round of the Geography Bee and, based on their strong performance, have qualified for the National Competition this May in Orlando!
Roland Komiss also competed in the Science Bee and qualified for Nationals in both Geography and Science.
There are a couple of additional regional IAC competitions coming up in the next few weeks, where other students from Mantua will be competing. For more information, please email mantuageobee@gmail.com.

Spring Enrichment Registration Is Almost Here
Mantua PTA has paired with Baroody Camps to bring you another exciting selection of classes! Classes will run March 9th through May 14th. Spring registration begins at 10 AM February 19th and ends Sunday March 1st at 11:59 PM.

Mantua Book Fair
Go for the gold and be a reading champion! Mantua Elementary’s book fair will run from 2/25/26 to 3/4/26. Open during Family Engagement Night 2/26 5:30 – 7:30 PM and also on Saturday 2/28 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM (coffee and donut truck on site!).

Read-a-Thon
The fifth annual Read-a-Thon is approaching! It will be for two weeks: Monday, February 23rd through Friday, March 6th.
Our theme this year is "Be a Gold Medal Reader." All Mantua students are eligible to participate, and we have exciting prizes planned for this year.
Please pay attention to emails and Tuesday folder announcements for important Read-a-Thon information.

Mantua Science Fair
Mantua’s Science and Engineering Fair is back for another year! It will be held Friday, March 13 at our school.
We can’t wait to see the students' projects this year! Not competing? Come check out the great projects or volunteer to judge.

Mantua yearbooks for the 25-26 school year are now available to order. All orders are done online and cost $20.
