Feedback Welcomed! Advanced Academics Center Proposal for North Springfield ES

Last week, FCPS held a community meeting to discuss opening a new elementary Full-Time Advanced Academics Program (AAP) Center program at North Springfield Elementary School.  With this proposal, Bren Mar Park full-time AAP students who select services at a center would no longer go to Belvedere Elementary.  They would go to North Springfield Elementary School.

Bren Mar Park will continue to offer AAP full- and part-time services through our local-level program, now in grades 3, 4 and 5!

The slide deck can be accessed via this link

FCPS welcomes your feedback through this feedback form.

The form will be open through Saturday, February 14, 2026.

A summary of the feedback will be included in the Board Docs for the February 26 School Board meeting on this topic. A full timeline of the process is included in the feedback form and in the community meeting materials.
