Hayfield Secondary Community Newsletter - Week 24

Dear Hayfield Community -

As we settle into the second semester, there is a renewed sense of focus throughout our hallways as students and staff gear up for a strong finish. We are continuing to work through the academic advising process, ensuring every student is set on a clear and successful path for the next school year. Our attention will then shift to essential SOL and major assessment review, providing the targeted support students need to showcase their growth. We look forward to partnering with our families during this critical stretch to ensure every student feels confident and prepared!

📢Hawk Highlights

Bird Bowl 2026

It was an electric Tuesday evening as our varsity boys and girls basketball teams secured a decisive sweep over our cross-town rivals, the Edison Eagles. The atmosphere was electric, thanks to the Hype Squad showing up in full force to bring the noise and defend the Hawks Nest. Additionally all of our lower level girls and boys teams won their games against Edison as well making it a CLEAN SWEEP! Congratulations to all our athletes for their grit and dominance on the court!

Middle School Dance Success

The middle school after-school dance was a resounding success, filled with high energy and bright smiles from start to finish. It was wonderful to see so many students hitting the floor to master line dances together, creating a truly joyous atmosphere. A huge thank you goes out to the SGA team for their hard work and dedication in planning such a memorable event for our students.
