Cameron is looking to hire high-impact tutors to support students in grades 3-6 in reading and math. The pay is $50 per hour, with the option to work up to 29 hours per week. You would be joining a team of 2 wonderful tutors, and working with small groups of students.Â

Itâs Kindergarten Registration Time!
Kindergarten helps children learn and practice the social, emotional, problem-solving, and self-regulation skills they will use throughout their lives.Â
Fairfax County public schools typically conduct kindergarten registration events, including orientation, in the spring. Eligible children can be registered throughout the summer, but registering your child early helps schools prepare and ensure they have the teachers and resources needed on the first day of school.Â
If your child will attend our school, please gather necessary documents and complete registration forms as soon as possible.Â

FCPS Ombuds Office Provides Confidential Guidance
The Office of the Ombuds engages with families, students, and staff to offer resources and improve the experience of each and every member of the FCPS community. They work as an independent confidential resource to help answer questions, offer options to resolve concerns, and hear complaints regarding FCPS matters. Ombuds staff do not change or make decisions, policies, or regulations; take sides; or provide legal advice.
February Is Career and Technical Education Month
By enrolling in a Career and Technical Education (CTE) course or program, students learn the technical applications of many occupations while preparing for higher education or entry-level employment. A core program of CTE courses is offered in every middle and high school including Business and Information Technology, Family and Consumer Sciences, Health and Medical Sciences, Marketing, Technology and Engineering Education, and Trade and Industrial Education. Feb 3 End-of-QuarterÂ
Due to the recent loss of instructional days, the final day of the second quarter has been moved to Tuesday, February 3.Â
Teachers may continue second-quarter assessments through February 3 and will share any specific changes with students and families through Schoology. Students in semester courses will continue attending first-semester classes through February 3. See Dr. Reidâs letter to the community about the end-of-quarter adjustments.Â
