Dear Stone Families,
We are hopeful that school will be back in session beginning Monday. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our incredible custodial team, who have worked tirelessly throughout the week chipping away at the ice to ensure our grounds are safe for students to return to learning.
We are excited to welcome students back to school and reengage in instruction. Due to winter weather cancellations, the end of the second quarter has been extended. The last day of Quarter 2 will now be Tuesday, February 3rd. This extension will allow students additional time to submit outstanding second-quarter work and complete any previously planned assessments.
This week, we are also proud to celebrate National School Counseling Week and would like to take a moment to recognize our outstanding Stone School Counseling Team for the incredible care, guidance, and advocacy they provide our students every single day. From academic support to social-emotional growth, their impact reaches far beyond the counseling office.

This evening is designed to provide families with information about our 7th and 8th grade core curriculum, as well as available elective offerings.
Additionally, I will be hosting our Second Quarter Coffee with the Principal on Friday February 6, 2026 at 8:30am. This informal gathering will focus on current topics and school updates, while also providing parents and guardians an opportunity to ask questions and share feedback.
We will end the week celebrating the arts with our winter musical, Frozen Jr., with performances on Friday at 7:00 PM and Saturday at 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM. We hope you can join us to support our talented students.
