Dear Eagle View Families,
Our first week back from winter break was filled with positive energy, joy, and a renewed sense of community across the school. It was wonderful to see our students reconnect with friends, reestablish routines, and jump back into learning with such enthusiasm.
We proudly recognized our December Students of the Month, honoring students who consistently demonstrate our school values. Congratulations to Krizal A. (1st Grade- Reveur), A'mere M. (5th Grade- Amistad), A'mei J. (3rd Grade- Isibindi), and Zayne K. (5th grade- Altruismo).
We wrapped up the week with a celebration for Altruismo House, our winning house for the month of December! The celebration was full of fun—a victory lap around the school followed by time for house bonding outdoors. What stood out most was seeing students from all houses cheering on the Altruismos and celebrating one another. Moments like these truly bring our house system and our values to life.
Thank you to our staff and students for making the return to school such a joyful and uplifting week. We’re excited for all that lies ahead!
Sincerely,
KJ An
Principal

Fairfax County is seeing very high levels of influenza (flu) illness. Visits to emergency departments and urgent care centers for flu-like illness have increased, especially among children, and multiple flu outbreaks have occurred in our community and school settings.
Consider these tips from the Fairfax County Health Department to help reduce the spread of flu and other germs.
Encourage your neighbors, friends, and community members to follow the FCPS budget process and look for opportunities to share your ideas about funding public education. Key decision dates and engagement opportunities are coming up in the next few weeks:
