Dear Poplar Tree Families,
We enjoyed having the students back in the building this week! They all seemed to come back ready to learn and happy for a little routine!
Next week, each house will have a closing circle where we will meet together, share with everyone what it means to have Panther PRIDE (stay tuned for more on that next week!), and have a little fun! We are encouraging students to wear their house T-shirt on the days of their closing circle.
- Monday - Blue House 💙
- Tuesday - Green House 💚
- Wednesday - Orange House 🧡
- Thursday - Red House ❤️
Next week, our students will also get to see all the newly designed Panthers our classes have created using AI. Students will get the chance to vote for their favorite one as well!
Have a wonderful weekend!

💪Strength Stories 🎯
This week's Strength Story features Elias Wong, Nyla & Morgan Mitchell, and William & Ryan Dalianis.
- Their Goal: Supporting our community through packing power packs for the Power Pack Program. The program sends weekend backpack meals home with Fairfax county students who do not get enough food on the weekends without their school provided meals and have limited access to food over the weekend.
- What did they do to achieve this goal? Gathered together to come up with a list of items needed for the power pack and packed each power pack together as a group.
- Did they accomplish their goal? Yes! It was a great team effort
- What advice do they have for others working towards a goal? Working together as a team can help you achieve your goals faster. And it’s fun!
Way to go Eli, Nyla, Morgan, William, & Ryan! Way to give back to our community! ❤️
To have your child featured, please complete THIS FORM!
Please note: they do not have to have ACHEIVED their goal, just be working towards it!!
