ℹ️ School Counseling Information

National Counseling Appreciation Week, primarily National School Counseling Week (NSCW), is held the first full week of February, highlighting school counselors' vital role in student success. This upcoming week, Feb 2-6, 2026, the featured theme is  "School Counselors Amplify Student Success," involving activities such as thank-you events, educational campaigns, and showcasing their impact on academics, careers, and social-emotional well-being.  We want all students to have a connection with our student services team and be thankful for all that they do daily from focusing on things like building strong adult relationships, attendance, academic and/or grades, peer relationships, physical or mental concerns, anxiety, food insecurities, and so much more. We want all students to be seen, heard, and feel supported in Hayfield.

Thank you to our MS and HS team of clinicians, testing coordinators, and school counselors.

🎽Huge Shoutout to Our Special Olympics Basketball Team! 🏀

students playing basketball with coaches on the sideline

We have some incredible news to share from the court! For the first time in many years, our school proudly cheered on a Special Olympics basketball team this past weekend, and they certainly didn't disappoint.

Our team of nine talented athletes headed over to Marshall High School to compete in back-to-back games. They showed incredible heart, sportsmanship, and skill, finishing the weekend with a solid 1-1 record. Watching these students represent our school with such pride was a true highlight of the season.

Thank you! HAWK PRIDE!
