We were thrilled to welcome our Chantilly Academy students back this week after Winter Break. Happy New Year to our Chantilly Academy students, families and community! We look forward to sharing all of the exciting things happening at the Academy with you all in 2026.
Our Veterinary Science students will be hosting a community grooming day at Chantilly Academy on Saturday, January 24 from 12:00pm-4:00pm. All proceeds will benefit our FFA chapter for field trips, competitions, and club activities. If you have a furry friend at home that could use a "spa day," consider signing up to bring them to our grooming event!
See the flyer below for more information on services provided and pricing. Click here to sign up for an appointment!
Note: all dogs must be up-to-date on their rabies vaccine to be seen for grooming services.
As students begin planning their course selections for the 2026-27 school year, we encourage you to check out the unique courses we offer here at Chantilly Academy! Whether you are a current Academy student looking to return next school year or a prospective student hoping to start your Academy journey, we hope you will explore what Chantilly Academy has to offer.
Students who would like to register for an Academy course for the 2026-27 school year should speak to their base-school counselor during academic advising to register.
Thank you to the many Chantilly Academy students who have been busy representing the Academy at electives fairs, curriculum nights, and open houses throughout the county!
Nathan Mitchell, DVM, a veterinarian and Chantilly High School alum, was a guest speaker for our Veterinary Science students this week. Dr. Mitchell shared the SIMON medical simulation system that he and his brother created to simulate ultrasounds and eye exams on animals. Students had the opportunity to test out the various technologies to get hands-on ultrasound and eye exam experience. Thank you, Dr. Mitchell!
Medical Assistant 2 students have begun their phlebotomy unit using phlebotomy training arms to practice drawing blood.
Second year Dental Careers students are currently in their orthodontics unit and have been practicing placing orthodontic wires and bands.
