As a reminder, winter break will be held Monday, December 22, to Friday, January 2. We are wishing our Chantilly Academy students, families, staff, and community a safe and restful winter break.
Classes resume on Monday, January 5, 2026. We look forward to welcoming students back to Chantilly Academy in the new year!
Last weekend, our robotics team, FTC 9073, Knightrix won first place and was the winning alliance captain at the FTC Baltimore 1 Qualifier. Additionally, they won the 1st place Control Award, a testament to their impressive robot software, specifically the team’s innovative programming, precise automation, and consistent on-field performance.
Knightrix was undefeated throughout the competition, eventually advancing to playoffs as the #1 Alliance captain. Their impressive performance qualified them to advance to the Chesapeake District Championships, which will be held in February in Doswell, VA. Congratulations, Knightrix!
As we look back on 2025, students at Chantilly Academy had a year filled with meaningful learning, skill-building, and growth across all of our programs. In each of our classrooms, students challenged themselves, gained confidence in their skills, and prepared for future careers.

 Air Force JROTC cadets practiced leadership and team work daily in and out of the flight room.
 Our Auto Collision students breathed new life into vehicles through dent repairs, cosmetic restoration, paint jobs, and more.
 Our auto shop saw dozens of vehicles for client services performed by our Auto Tech students, who put these vehicles safely back on the road.
 Our Carpentry class was buzzing as students learned to use new tools for projects in the shop.
 Our Cosmetology students got their hands in hair as often as they could with their sights set on becoming Licensed Cosmetologists in 2026.
 Criminal Justice students had frequent guest speakers and field trips to explore the many pathways within law enforcement and the judicial system.
 Our Culinary Arts students spent countless hours in the kitchen preparing Dinner Done and Grab 'n Go meals for staff members and the community.
 From coding and networking to cybersecurity fundamentals, our Cyber/IT students built technical skills for today's digital world.
 Students stayed busy in the lab in Dental Careers practicing everything from sterilization to coronal polishing.
 In Exploring Health Sciences, students investigated the many career opportunities in the health and medical field.
 The high school firefighters in our Firefighting program completed rigorous, hands-on training during their practicals.
 Students in our Korean program immersed themselves in the language, culture, history, and food of Korea.
 At our Classroom on the Mall, Marketing Management students took a deep dive into the world of retail marketing.
 Our Medical Assistant students practiced hands-on skills such as injections, suturing, taking vital signs, patient intake, and more.
 Pharmacy Technician students used new technology to modernize the way they dispense and track medications, making it both safer and more efficient.
 Our Physical and Occupational Therapy students practiced many skills and techniques used in the rehabilitation process for patients.
 Students in our STEM Engineering and Robotics classes worked together to problem solve, innovate, and create with the help of some awesome technology.
 Teachers for Tomorrow students became the teachers as they began their student teaching internships.
 In Veterinary Science, students provided grooming services to dozens of furry clients.
