Dranesville Staff Holiday Dessert Bar – December 18th
We’re putting together a Holiday Dessert Bar to celebrate and appreciate everything our staff does. We would love your help by contributing individual baked cookies, bars, brownies, or other sweet treats.
Please drop off all items by 10:00 AM at the Front Office.

Grades 3–6 | Wednesdays After School | Jan 14 – Mar 11, 2026
$160/player + transaction fee
In this upbeat, movement-focused program, players will learn to serve, return, volley, and score points — all while practicing teamwork, coordination, and sportsmanship. Whether it’s their first swing or they’re already paddling like pros, everyone has a blast in the pickleball zone!
🏒 Slap Shot Floor Hockey – Stick Skills & Big Thrills!
Grades K–3 | Mondays After School | Jan 12 – Mar 16, 2026

Hit the floor running with Slap Shot Floor Hockey, a high-energy indoor program where players learn to pass, shoot, defend, and score — all while having a blast! Kids will develop stick handling, teamwork, and positioning through fun drills and exciting games that keep everyone moving and engaged.

Learn chess with Silver Knights Academy, the five time world champion’s academy! Class time is divided between lessons and practice games. Lessons range from the basic rules to advanced tournament strategies.

We’re looking ahead to next school year and have openings for PTA President and Vice President—and we truly need volunteers to step into these roles to ensure we have a PTA next year. Without a full board, we won’t be able to offer the fun events and programs our kids love, like Spooky Bingo, Dragon Runners, Chess Club, and so many more.
