Welcome to Our First Newsletter of the 2025–2026 School Year!
Although we’re already well into the school year, this is our first official PTA newsletter—and we’re excited to share updates, opportunities to get involved, and upcoming events with our Rocky Run community. Thank You for an Amazing Trunk or Treat!
Our very first Rocky Run MS PTA Trunk or Treat was a huge success! Thank you to every family, volunteer, and staff member who decorated trunks, donated candy, assisted with setup, or simply came out to enjoy the fun. Your enthusiasm truly made the event special.

Save the Date: Dave & Buster’s Spirit Night!
Join us for our next exciting PTA Spirit Night at Dave & Buster’s (Fairfax)!
- 📅 Thursday, January 22
- ⏰ 5:00 – 8:00 PM
- 💙 20% of proceeds from game play, food, & non-alcoholic drinks will support the RRMS PTA.
Bring the family for games, dinner, and mid-winter fun—all while supporting our school.
Christmas Tree Sale- Benefiting Rocky Run PTA!
Looking for a tree this holiday season? Trees will be sold at Greenbriar Pool Parking lot beginning on Black Friday through Christmas Eve from 10am-7pm every day. $5 from each sale will benefit the Rocky Run and Chantilly PTAs

- 32 Staff Members
Our goal is 115+ families by the end of 2025, and every membership helps us fund programs, teacher support, student activities, and community-building events.
