We started off our week presenting the winning tshirt design for Bully Prevention Month! Sophia Merzi and I got on the morning news show so that she could showcase her artwork to the school. We also agreed to wear our new shirts on Friday for Spirit Day. Great job, Sophia!
On Monday, we celebrated Veterans Day with a choral performance by our 4th graders. Thank you to Mrs. Gordon and Mx. Bosley for preparing students for this beautiful tribute to our military families.
I was able to sit down for lunch with our SCA Leadership Team this week to share ideas and plans about the upcoming months. The SCA is working hard to best support their fellow Knights.
The PTA hosted their first Karaoke Knight on Wednesday and we've got some real singers in the Forest! Thank you to the PTA for organizing another fun night for our school.
Today was the last day of our Book Fair and we think it was one of the most successful ones in recent years! The Book Fair is a logistical whirlwind each year and Mrs. Sharrett, our Librarian, manages it all from start to finish to make the best experience for our students and families. We are so grateful for Mrs. Sharrett and all of her hard work. A big thank you also goes out to the parent volunteers who gave us their time to support the mechanics of the Book Fair. We couldn't do it without you!
