Principal's Message
We are having an amazing full week of learning and fun at Chesterbrook. Students are immersed in their school work and showing their desire to grow. We are seeing our theme in action "Chipmunks Chip in and Climb High" as students strive to learn, share their thinking and grow each and every day. It is great to see the amazing growth our students are already making as we move into second quarter.
We look forward to seeing parents at our Thanksgiving lunch tomorrow and/or our Turkey Trot on Monday. It's been great to have a fall filled with family connections as your children thrive on our collaboration. While you are here, PLEASE check the lost and found - your purchases want to find their way home! We will cleanout by Thanksgiving, as there is NO more room to save, so please check it out!

Our Lost & Found is bursting at the seams! If your child’s coat has been living its best life at school for the past few weeks, please come rescue it. Items not claimed by Friday, November 21 will be donated to Share of McLean!

PHILANTHROPY CLUB DRIVE
The Chesterbrook Philanthropy Committee in partnership with Vinson Hall will be collecting personal care items for those in need in our McLean community. Each grade level has been assigned an item. Any and all donations appreciated from November 12th - 24th.

REPORT CARDS
Report cards were sent home on 11/13 in Thursday folders. Make sure to ask your student for their folder! Brown folders should be returned to school.
Turkey Trot Schedule, Monday, 11/24
Parents are welcome to come cheer on their child(ren) in our annual Turkey Trot. Who will run the most laps in our grades? Winners will be recognized at the end of the day with a Turkey Trot Medal. If it is rainy or the field is muddy we will have to postpone but hopefully we will have a great day!
4th & 5th Grade: 9:30 - 10:10
