We are so excited for our annual Thanksgiving Luncheon on Monday. This event is a cherished tradition that allows our staff and students to come together, share a delicious meal, and celebrate the spirit of gratitude within our school community. We look forward to a fantastic meal and a great atmosphere as we enjoy this special time together.
Speaking of supporting our community, our annual Cedar Lane Fall Food Drive is underway until Monday, November 24th! Your generosity makes a significant impact on local families. We are gratefully accepting donations of non-perishable food items and gift cards, which help provide essential support. Items can be dropped off at the school Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Thank you for considering a contribution!

✅ Please Return Your Federal Impact Aid Survey
FCPS is asking all families to complete a Federal Impact Aid Survey. The form is available in SIS ParentVUE under Online Packets, which is in the upper right corner of the screen after logging in. Please complete the survey as soon as possible.
Our school will provide paper forms to families who have not completed the survey in ParentVUE. For more information, please visit the Federal Impact Aid Survey page or watch this video about why Impact Aid matters.

🩹 Immunization Events for FCPS Students
FCPS, in partnership with Inspire Health Alliance, will provide school-required immunizations and optional flu shots to all FCPS students at no cost. Additional dates will be made available throughout the school year.
Immunization clinics will take place on:

Saturday, November 15, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Frost Middle School.

Tuesday, November 18, from 3 to 6:30 p.m., at Willow Oaks Administrative Center.
Participation is voluntary. Additional Immunization Resources are available online. Parents or guardians may schedule an appointment for their student.️
🩹 Eventos de Vacunación para Estudiantes de FCPS
FCPS, en asociación con “Inspire Health Alliance”, ofrecerá las vacunas obligatorias para ir a la escuela y la vacuna contra la influenza (“Flu” en inglés), de forma gratuita, para todos los estudiantes. También se ofrecerán fechas adicionales durante todo el año escolar.

The FCPS Family Academy announces the launch of a monthly series called the FCPS Family Café. These fun and helpful sessions are designed to keep families informed and involved in their child’s education. At Family Café, parents are key partners in helping children succeed.
