💭 Reid Reflects: Addressing the Future of AI
In her reflections this week, Superintendent Dr. Michelle Reid shared critical conversations that were held during the Meeting the Moment: FCPS Forward – AI and The Future of Learning event.
Dr. Reid emphasized that we are at a critical time where we must choose to shape artificial intelligence’s (AI's) future rather than let it shape us. Dr. Reid shared compelling data, noting the rapid transformation of the job landscape: entry-level roles are disappearing, particularly in white-collar sectors, and nearly 40% of the skills required for work will have changed by 2030. But FCPS is ready to meet the moment.
Read more in Dr. Reid’s Weekly Reflections.
