Message from the President

Veterans Day

Hello Fairfax High School Families, Teachers, and Staff,

Let's all take a moment to Thank our Veterans for their service and dedication to our country. We especially want to recognize and thank those Veterans within our school community - parents, grandparents, neighbors, and staff. We celebrate and honor you.

Congrats to the Fairfax Lions for making the playoffs!!  Can’t wait for the first game on Friday!! The Academic Boosters had their lettering event last week and awarded over 500 Letters to students.  The students also got a sweet treat before heading back to class.

It is hard to believe the City of Fairfax craft fair is this weekend!!! The All Night Grad (ANG) committee runs the concessions stand for the two day craft fair and it’s their biggest fundraiser of the year!!! We still need a fair amount of food donations. Please see if there is anything you can contribute.

All Night Grad Volunteers Needed - Parents AND Students!

CONCESSION SIGN-UP!!

ANG Circle

The Class of 2026 is thrilled to host our All Night Grad (ANG) Celebration. ANG is an unforgettable, fun, drug- and alcohol-free event designed to keep our students safe on the night of graduation.

How can YOU help?

All Night Grad (ANG ‘26) is working concessions at the Fairfax City Holiday Craft Show, November 15 & 16 at Fairfax High School. ALL the concessions and 50/50 raffle proceeds benefit the Senior Class ANG celebration, held the night of graduation. This fundraiser is the best way to defray the cost of ANG and keep ANG ticket prices low.

However, we need assistance - from many parents and students - to pull this off!

Junior parents are highly encouraged to assist since you will be running the event for your kids next year! All students can get volunteer hours for their support, plus it's a lot of fun. Volunteers also receive FREE entry to the craft fair! There are three ways to help:

Thank you for supporting the Class of 2026 and providing a safe space to celebrate on graduation night.

Senior Magnet

NEW: We are now selling

Senior 2026 Car Magnets!!

The magnets are $10 and will be available at sporting events concessions and the city craft fair concession stand, but if you CAN’T WAIT to get your hands on one of these, then please email ANG@FairfaxPTSA.org

This fundraiser will support the ANG event!

The next ANG meeting is Tuesday, November 18, in the library, after the PTSA meeting. We hope to see you there!

Did You Know?

The PTSA funds scholarships for the seniors who log the most volunteer hours? This is something your dues and no fuss donations help fund.  Without your support we will not be able to award these well deserving students.
