Dear Sleepy Hollow families,
It’s hard to believe we’ve reached the end of the first quarter! Our halls have been filled with laughter, learning, and so many moments of growth. I am incredibly proud of our students and staff for their hard work, perseverance, and the joyful energy they bring each day to our “We Are Family” community.
As we close this first chapter of the school year, I want to take a moment to celebrate how far we’ve come. Students have built strong classroom communities, embraced new learning challenges, and shown tremendous kindness and respect toward one another. Teachers and staff have worked tirelessly to create engaging, supportive learning environments where every child can thrive.
💬 Parent-Teacher Conferences Parent-teacher conferences are a wonderful opportunity to reflect on your child’s progress and set goals for the months ahead. If you haven’t already done so, please take a moment to schedule your conference with your child’s teacher. Your partnership makes all the difference in helping our students reach their fullest potential.
🎉 Celebrations and Gratitude A heartfelt thank you to our families for your continued collaboration—whether through volunteering, attending school events, or simply reinforcing positive habits at home. Your support helps make Sleepy Hollow a vibrant, welcoming place for every child.
🍂 Looking Ahead As we move into the second quarter, we’ll continue to focus on strong attendance, positive behavior, and academic growth. Together, we can help every student finish 2025 stronger than they started!
Thank you for being an essential part of our Sleepy Hollow family. Enjoy the fall season, take time to celebrate your child’s achievements, and know how much we appreciate your partnership.
With gratitude and pride, Mirnaly Vega Principal, Sleepy Hollow Elementary School “Somo una Familia— Every Dolphin Matters!” 🐬💙
