The Dixit Dialogue – Updates on the New FCPS High School for Western Fairfax County
The New FCPS High School Entrance
Dear Sully District Families and Community Members,
Thank you to everyone who joined the recent open house for the new high school. It’s inspiring to see so much excitement around this important addition to our community! The 355,000-square-foot campus features state-of-the-art learning environments, including advanced science and robotics labs, fine arts facilities, and athletic spaces designed to prepare students for the future.
You’re invited to attend one of the upcoming community meetings to review the proposed boundary options and share your input:
Slides from the October 27 meeting on the school naming process are also available. A survey will open by mid-November for families, students, and staff to submit name suggestions, followed by additional naming meetings in December.
To learn more, visit the FCPS webpage for the new Western High School.
As always, I welcome your thoughts and questions and will continue to share updates as this project progresses.
In partnership,
Seema Dixit
Sully District School Board Member
