FCPS Mobile App

📱FCPS Launches New Mobile App for families

The new FCPS App is a convenient, all-in-one tool to help families stay connected and engaged with their schools. With just a few taps, families can:

  • Get news and updates directly from the district or their selected schools, if it’s on a school’s website, it’s in the app.
  • Follow multiple schools, perfect for families with children in different schools.
  • Access school calendars for events, sports, performances, and holidays, and even add them to their own calendar.
  • Find contact information for schools and staff, including phone numbers and email addresses.
  • Use essential tools like Schoology, SIS, and MySchoolBucks, right from the app.
  • Check daily menus under “Meals” for what’s being served in the cafeteria, including nutritional information.

The new FCPS mobile app puts school information, resources, and tools right at your fingertips.

Want to try it? Download it from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Please Return Your Federal Impact Aid Survey

FCPS is asking all families to fill out a Federal Impact Aid Survey. The form is available in SIS ParentVUE under Online Packets, which is in the upper right corner of the screen after logging in. Please complete it as soon as possible. We will provide paper forms to families who have not completed the survey in ParentVUE starting Wednesday, November 12.

Completing this form for each school-aged child in every household is important. This year, FCPS expects to receive approximately $4 million in Impact Aid funding. These funds are used to support all Fairfax County public schools and centers. Thank you.

For more information, visit the Federal Impact Aid Survey page.

Community Resources for Families in Need

If your family is affected by the shutdown or you know someone looking for help, the Fairfax County Coordinated Services Planning (CSP) provides centralized information for community-based organizations and other Fairfax County agencies. CSP can provide information, referrals, and advocacy to help individuals connect with services, including: basic needs (food, shelter, clothing), financial assistance, health care services, and referrals to services and resources.

Visit the CSP website or call 703-222-0880 for assistance.

How to Access Food or Donate to Those in Need

Please RSVP by November 6th.
