 Dear Haycock Families,
It was wonderful to welcome so many parents into the building on Friday, October 31 for the Kindergarten Book Character parade, the 6th grade Science game share, and various celebrations throughout the building.
It's hard to believe we've finished the first quarter of the 2025-26 school year. Please see dates below regarding first quarter report cards/progress reports and when they will be available in SIS ParentVUE.
Although students are not in school today or tomorrow, teachers are engaging in professional development, working on grading and report cards, and conducting parent conferences.
If you were unable to join us last week for the AAP parent information session about the spring screening process, please see the slides from that presentation here. Parent referrals for spring eligibility for full time AAP services for students in grades 2-6 are due by December 15, 2025.
We hope to see you on Wednesday evening, November 5 for the PTA Math Night family event from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
With appreciation for your partnership,
Liz Beaty, Principal embeaty@fcps.edu
Heather Boyd, AP HABoyd@fcps.edu

They are supported in various settings, including at their school site or through itinerant specialists who travel to different schools to work with students, rather than being based in a single school.
