Stronger Together
Dear Clearview Families,
The beautiful fall weather reminds us of how fortunate we are to live in an area that experiences the four seasons and the incredible changes that come with each season. Our students are changing, as well, while making connections to learning and to one another at Clearview. As we head towards the end of our first academic quarter, let's continue working together to maximize each child's success. Remember to schedule a parent-teacher conference if you haven’t already!
See the schedule for the upcoming weeks below:
Wednesday 10/29 Three-hour early dismissal
Friday 10/31 Two-hour early dismissal
Monday 11/3 No school
Tuesday 11/4 No school
Tuesday 11/11 No school
Have a wonderful weekend,

Recognize an Outstanding Employee at Clearview Elementary School!
 |
|
We all know someone who goes above and beyond—someone who shows up every day with dedication, kindness, and a commitment to making our school a better place. Now is the time to celebrate those exceptional people! |
Nominations for Outstanding Employee are officially open now through October 31.
If you know a Clearview employee who inspires others, leads with heart, or makes a meaningful difference, don’t miss the chance to shine a spotlight on their hard work. Let’s take a moment to recognize and celebrate the people who make our school community stronger every day.
🧥Winter Coats Available 🧥
As the autumn days grow cooler and the temperatures begin to drop, please remember to send your student to school with a warm coat each day. It is important that all students are able to stay warm and comfortable, especially during outdoor activities like recess and outdoor learning. If your student is in need of a winter jacket, please do not hesitate to reach out to our front office, and we will be happy to assist you confidentially.

Disability History and Awareness Month
At Clearview, we proudly serve students with a wide range of needs and abilities. We believe every child deserves to feel valued, supported, and included. Our students are encouraged to celebrate and respect each other’s differences, building a community rooted in empathy and understanding. Through collaboration, support, and a commitment to equity, we ensure every student has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive together.
🧡National Bullying Prevention Month🧡
October is National Bullying Prevention Month. To help develop a common understanding of Bullying, below is the FCPS definition.
Bullying in Students Rights and Responsibilities is defined as: “Any aggressive and unwanted behavior that is intended to harm, intimidate, or humiliate the victim; involves a real or perceived power imbalance between the aggressor or aggressors and victim; and is repeated over time or causes severe emotional trauma. “Bullying” includes cyberbullying. “Bullying” does not include ordinary teasing, horseplay, argument, or peer conflict.”
For more information on how FCPS handles a bullying situation please visit the FCPS Bullying Prevention and Intervention webpage. Our goal is to ensure all students feel safe and welcome at school. If you have questions and/or concerns about something that is going on at school, please contact the front office so that they can support you and most importantly your student.
