Dear TJHSST Families,
Happy 40th Anniversary to Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology! The main focus of my week has been making sure everything is in place for a great time, so I do not have an update for you this week. The Jefferson Journal will resume next Friday, Oct. 31 (which remember is a 2-hour early release day!), with the November News You Choose newsletter coming on Friday, Nov. 7.
All tests for courses in which students are enrolled will be ordered if a student does not opt out by October 31st. If a student exceeds their six exams paid for by FCPS they will be billed a $99 nonrefundable fee for each AP exam and $124 nonrefundable fee for each IB exam. If a student does not opt out by October 31st, and does not sit for the exam, exam fees are nonrefundable.
