📸Fall Portrait Retakes are Friday, November 14
Students who missed Picture Day in October or would like a retake of their portrait should come to school picture ready! If picture packages were purchased, they must be turned in to the photographer on November 14 to have a replacement picture taken. Looking ahead, Spring Portraits and class pictures will be on April 16 and 17.

🍎 Mosaic ES Food Drive
We’re collecting food donations from November 5–21 to support families in our community through Food for Others. If you’re able, please consider sending in non-perishable items to help make a difference!
Most-needed items include:
• Oil (no glass bottles)
• Canned tomato products
• Dry cereal
• Canned meat
• Spaghetti sauce (no glass jars)
• Canned fruit & vegetables
• Canned beans (black, kidney, pinto, etc.)
• Peanut butter
• Pasta & mac n’ cheese
• 100% fruit juice
• Boxed stuffing
• Canned cranberry sauce
📍 Drop-off location: Mosaic ES lobby
‼️ Please double-check expiration dates. Donations must be dropped off by November 21.

✅ Return Your Federal Impact Aid Survey
Please fill out your Impact Aid form online in Parent Vue
The Federal Impact Aid program provides money to districts that enroll federally connected students. Help FCPS secure funding for our school by identifying military families, federally connected families, and families living on a military base.
Step 1: CLICK HERE to be taken to SIS ParentVUE. If you don’t have a SIS ParentVUE account, contact the office for an activation letter.
Step 2: After logging into your ParentVue Account, look for the ‘Online Packets’ link at the top of the page. Click ‘Online Packets’.
Step 3: Next, click the ‘Federal Impact Aid Survey’ button on the bottom of the page. This will take you to the Impact Aid Survey for you to complete.
If you have multiple children in FCPS, a separate form must be filled out for each child.
For families who do not complete the online form, paper forms will be sent home starting on November 12. All information is kept strictly confidential.
❌SIS ParentVUE End-of-Quarter Closure
The Gradebook in SIS ParentVUE and StudentVUE will be closed for the end of the first quarter from Friday, October 31, 4 p.m. to Monday, November 10, 6 a.m. Activate your ParentVUE account to easily access grade reports.
🩹 Immunization Events for FCPS Students
FCPS, in partnership with Inspire Health Alliance, will be providing school-required immunizations and optional flu shots for all FCPS students with no out-of-pocket costs. Immunization clinics will take place from 3 to 6:30 p.m. at Willow Oaks Administrative Center on:
- Thursday, November 6
- Tuesday, November 18
- Wednesday, November 19
- Thursday, November 20
A clinic will also take place at Frost Middle School on Saturday, November 15, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Additional dates will be made available throughout the school year.
Participation is voluntary. Parents or guardians may schedule an appointment for their student. Learn more about immunization resources.
