We are halfway through our Read-A-Thon fundraiser. Everyone is doing an amazing job remembering to add their reading sessions on their accounts. As a school, we have read over 25,000 minutes!
There’s still time to remind your friends & families to help support our school by donating to this fundraiser. With your continued support, we are able to:
- fund field trip transportation
- host a school-wide assembly
- support teachers
Wow! It has only been a week since we started our Read-A-Thon fundraiser, and we’ve already raised over $7,000. We are so proud of the students, and we sincerely appreciate your help in making this fundraiser a success!

We want to celebrate the end of Read-A-Thon by having our very first Trunk-or-Treat on Thursday, October 30th! It will be a family-friendly event where students have the opportunity to go from trunk to trunk collecting all sorts of treats & goodies. Don’t miss out on this fun-filled evening, and don’t forget to invite your friends & families!

Volunteer Sign Up - Decorate a Trunk
*Candy Needed - Our friendly candy monster is finally here, and it is very hungry! Send a bag of candy to school with your child and have them “feed” our monster, which will be located outside the main office. Thank you!
Not only do we need candy donations, but we also need your help naming our candy monster (use link below). Please take a moment and vote for your favorite name. We will reveal the name in next week’s Puma Press!

On October 24th, we will have another “Coffee with the Principals”. This session will take place at 9:30am, and it will be about understanding your child’s progress. The principals hope you will be able to join them that day!

It is so hard to believe that we are almost done with the first quarter. The school year is zooming by!
Teachers & staff members will be working hard on Monday, 11/3 completing report cards and preparing their classrooms for the second quarter. If you could please donate one or more grab & go breakfast items, that would be great!
